Fifty is the Loneliest Number
Hello, world! This is Hunter. I worked out today. All by my lonesome. Because Aliswan was diseased. Not really. She was just really tired and had a migraine. SO ALL BY MY LONESOME. Anyway, I did the "Filthy Fifty" crossfit, which can be found here: Filthy Fifty
My time was 18:10, leaving out the 50 wall balls as we do not have a wall ball. Or a place to throw a ball at the wall. Also, instead of the box jump it was more of a step up on the stairs 50 times. Overall, it was not too shabby.

In other news that is awesome, Hunter has done CrossFit 3 days in a row!!!
I have only done it 2 days in a row...it is hard.

A partial day.
Today was a half day.
Half a workout team,
half a workout,
half the energy...
This has been because I have been getting about half the sleep I need for the past week.
Insomnia is a beast.
Still, I wanted to get in at least most of a crossfit workout today so I did it at 9pm.
The workout for today can be found here.
It was late and I was to tired to do the whole thing so I made some adjustments.
Instead of an 800 meter run (it is below zero outside) I did 3 minutes of cardio INSIDE.
Also, I did 3 rounds instead of 5.

I am also trying to get back into the habit of doing abs every night before bed.
Again, instead of doing 25 reps of every move I only did 10 and ended up doing about 8 minutes of abs.

All by myselelelf...kinda
Today Hunter and I were together but separate.
This morning we did lafagoga.
Then I walked to work, to the library and home for a grand total of 1.5 hours of walking.
It was really nice actually.
This evening, since I had not had enough calories today, I was not allowed to workout but Hunter did CrossFit!!!
Actually she is finishing it as I am typing this.
She is awesome and very, very tired.

In 20 minutes she was able to do 5 rounds!!!
Go Hunter!!!
Tomorrow I will remember to eat breakfast before I leave for work and actually pack a lunch.
A bag of popcorn for lunch simply does not cut it.

Yoga and the DailyHiit
Today I was good...eventually.
I just didn't feel like working out this morning.
So, being the stubborn woman I am I got out my yoga mat, blocks, and books and tried to force myself to do yoga.
About 30 minutes passed of Hunter and I laying there laughing about our dangerous tv.
No yoga.
This evening on the other hand I suddenly felt the urge and did yoga for about 60 minutes.
Hunter joined me at the very end which was really nice.
After going to a birthday party Speedy and I came home and did a workout from dailyhiit.
The workout was composed of 2 parts: a 6 minute prep workout and a 4 minute workout.
It was short, sweet, and very sweaty.
Workout Prep scores:
Speedy: 7, 5, 8, 6, 8
Aliswan: 18, 10, 21, 14, 13
Workout scores:
Speedy: 5, 3, 14, 3
Aliswan: 9, 5 ,14, 5
So, new workout today (the dailyhiit) and I think I'll probably use the site again.
We'll see.
Maybe just on weekends when crossfit mamas don't have a workout.
